To ensure your horse a healthy life into old age, its feed must be adapted to meet changes in nutrient requirements. Especially for senior horses, a deficiency of basic nutrients can become a problem due to poor absorption. Nice to know: The "extra plus" ingredients for your senior horse: spirulina algae and grape seed meal. Spirulina naturally has a high content of essential amino acids and vitamins, whereas grape seed meal is particularly high in naturally antioxidant OPC (oligomeric pro anthocyanidins). These two components help to counteract natural muscle deterioration in ageing horses and exert a positive influence on their overall well-being. Size: 1,5 kg tub- Feed 6 g per 100 kg of body weight daily to ensure an adequate supply of all minerals, trace elements and vitamins. One tub (1.5 kg) should last approx. 50 days for a large horse (500 kg). One spoonful equals approx. 20 g. Due to its higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this supplementary feed should only be given according to the feeding recommendations given here.
